Rethink and Showcase can work together seamlessly, allowing individual brokers to sync deal, property, space, lead and comp data between the two platforms. You have the option to sync data in both directions or one-way, whichever suits you best.

The integration connects a standard set of fields between the platforms. Some custom fields can be added upon request.

Typically, the sync occurs every 15 minutes; however, you have the flexibility to create a custom sync schedule.

Field Mapping & Sync Direction

  • Bi-directional sync supported

  • One-directional sync supported; from Showcase to Rethink only

  • Properties must be syncing from Showcase to Rethink in order for leads to sync

  • Bi-directional sync supported

  • Comps must originate from Rethink

  • Bi-directional sync supported

A record is created or updated using the Buildout ID from the Showcase listing.

During the sync process, if a Buildout ID is not found in Rethink, the integration tries to find a matching record using the property and broker information. This ensures that the data stays synchronized and no records are lost, even if the Buildout ID is not available initially.

Note: “Child” records such as spaces, leads, and comps will only sync if their parent property is also syncing.

Here's what happens when a match is found or not found:

If a Match is Found:

  • If "Sync with BO" is checked in Rethink, the record will be updated with the corresponding data from Showcase.

  • If "Sync with BO" is NOT checked in Rethink, only the Buildout ID is populated, and the rest of the record remains unchanged.

If No Match is Found:

  • A new record is created.

  • The Buildout ID is populated in the new record.

  • The new record is marked for future synchronization by checking the "Sync With BO" checkbox.

In summary, the sync process matches data based on Buildout ID or address and broker, and depending on whether a match is found or not, the appropriate actions are taken to update or create records.

In Rethink, in order for a record to sync with Showcase, the following must take place :

  • The "Sync with BO" checkbox must be checked on the deal, property, space, or comp

file

  • The broker must be added to Associated Parties on the deal or property

The record will then sync to Showcase during the next scheduled sync (typically every 15 minutes).

Deals can also be sent to Showcase manually by clicking the 'Send to Buildout' button.

When syncing spaces to Showcase, the listing in Showcase must have either the "For Lease" or "For Sale" box checked for the spaces to appear.

In order to set up the integration, your implementation manager will ask you for the following. If you need guidance around best practices for your organization, Buildout would be happy to assist.

  • Subscriber login access

  • Desired sync direction (one-directional sync or bi-directional sync)

  • Which objects to sync (deals, properties, spaces, leads, comps)

  • Which users are allowed to sync data

  • Does your brokerage primarily do sales or leasing?
