If you use Rethink CRM and Showcase with the Email Marketing add-on, you can automatically access your Rethink contact lists directly within Showcase. This makes it easy to send email campaigns without manually exporting and importing contacts.
Once enabled, your Rethink lists appear as recipient lists in Showcase and are ready to use when creating an email campaign.
How it works
Contact lists created in Rethink automatically appear in the Recipients section of Showcase.
If you don’t see your Rethink contact lists in Showcase, contact the Support team at support@buildout.com to enable list syncing for your organization.
Lists are synced one way from Rethink to Showcase. You can use these lists to send marketing emails directly from Showcase.
Before you begin
Keep the following in mind:
Lists are synced from Rethink’s Lists tab (or List widget).
ALL list types are displayed in Showcase, not just contact lists. For example, property lists and other record types will also appear in the recipient list.
Only Contact lists contain valid email recipients. If you select a property list or another non-contact list, the campaign will send successfully but will have 0 recipients because there are no email addresses associated with those records.
We recommend giving your contact lists clear, descriptive names in Rethink so they’re easy to identify when selecting recipients in Showcase.
This is a one-way sync. Email activity—including opens, clicks, and other campaign metrics—does not sync back to Rethink. To view campaign performance, use the reporting available in Showcase.
Best practices
Create dedicated contact lists in Rethink specifically for email marketing.
Use descriptive names (for example, Industrial Owners – Chicago or Q3 Newsletter – Investors) so they’re easy to identify in Showcase.
