Customizing GEOsearch Filters and Fields

GEOsearch can be customized by following the steps in this article. Each area of interest has its own set of instructions.

To access GEOsearch settings:

1. Click the App Launcher, then search for and select 'Rethink Settings'.

2. In the left pane, expand 'Geosearch Settings'. There are two options: Filters and Display Fields.

3. Select Filters to customize the filter options highlighted below.

4. Create custom filters in GEOsearch's main navigation bar as well as the filters shown under the "More" menu (see above screen shot).

5. After customizing the filters, go to Display Fields to customize the fields in the various areas within GEOsearch. More on each area can be found below.

6. Locate the area you want to modify - see below for details about each section.

7. To add a field to a section, click the [+] button at the end of the row. Alternatively, to remove a field, click the [x] right next to that field.

8. After the desired changes have been made, click Save.

The below video tutorial will demonstrate how to add an additional option to the 'Sort By' menu.

'Sort By' Menu Options

To customize the 'Sort By' menu shown above, edit the 'Sort By Options' area:

Search Results & Map Marker Fields

To customize the fields displayed in the search results panel and map marker shown above, edit the 'Marker Fields' section.

The Marker Fields section is what controls the order in which the fields appear in the search results panel.

Email Template Fields

To customize the email template fields shown above, edit the 'Email Fields' section:

CSV Export Fields

To customize the fields in the CSV export (only available for Properties record type), edit the 'GEOsearch CSV' section:

PDF Template Fields

To customize the fields in the PDF template, edit 'PDF Fields 1', 'PDF Fields 2', and 'PDF Fields 3':

Note: PDF Fields only accepts 255 characters. Leverage PDF Fields 2 and PDF Fields 3 to add additional fields.
