How to Install or Upgrade Nintex Drawloop DocGen®
Updated over a week ago

If you just added Nintex Drawloop to your Rethink subscription, then you're in the right place!

Please contact your Client Success Manager or Product Support (rethinkcrm@buildout.com) for initial configuration.

Otherwise, the Rethink System Administrator can follow the below instructions to upgrade the app to the latest version.

  1. Follow this link and select Get It Now.
Tip: Salesforce may prompt you to log into your account. Use your Rethink login credentials where you intend to install the package.

    • Choose whether to install the app into a Production or Sandbox Organization.

    • Agree to the terms and conditions and choose Confirm and Install! Note: You may be prompted to login to Salesforce again (please use Rethink login credentials)

  2. Choose an access level and click Install.

    • Install for All Users

      • Select Install for All Users and click Install.

This is the recommended option for new install and upgrade. On upgrade, this option enables read/edit permissions to any new objects and fields included in the upgrade.

    • Install for Specific Profiles

      1. In Set access level for all profiles to, select Full Access and click Set.

      2. In Access Level, select DocGen User to profiles that only need to generate documents.

      3. In Access Level, select No Access to profiles that do not need access.

      4. Click Install.

If you need to restrict DocGen Package access by profile, choose this option for an upgrade. If you want to provide access to additional profiles later, you will have to edit field-level security and assign permissions. For more information, see Assign app permissions by profile.

  3. Confirm your installation is successful

    • From Rethink go to Setup > enter "Installed Packages" into the Quick Find search bar > select Installed Packages

You should see a package named Nintex DocGen® listed with any other packages you may have installed. Verify the Version Number matches the "Version" from AppExchange, and that the Install Date reflects the date you upgraded to the newest version.
