Data Loader Installation Steps
Updated over 4 months ago

When to use Data Loader:

Data Loader is a client application for the bulk import or export of data. It can be used to insert, update, delete, or export Salesforce records. The best use case for Data Loader is in scenarios where you need to load anywhere between 50,000 to 5,000 records. We recommend import wizard for loading less than 50,000 records. You can find more information and instructions for using import wizard here.
