Mass Emailing From Lists
Updated over 4 months ago

You may already know that you can mass email contacts from within the Contacts tab - now, you can mass email contacts from within your call lists. If you haven't already created a call list, do this first by following this step-by-step guide.

In this article, you will learn how to access your call lists and send a personalized email template to your contacts with only a few clicks.

This functionality doesn't support email attachments. The workaround is to upload the attachment somewhere publicly and insert a link to the document in your email. See Known Limitations at the bottom of this article for other considerations.

How to Access Your Call Lists

While you typically access your lists from the List Widget at the bottom, you can also access it from the Lists object. This is where you will be able to select one of your lists to send an email blast to.

Once you select your list of choice, you will be brought to this page where you can view all the contacts in your list:

How to Send Mass Emails

Open the list, then click the Send Email to Members button. If you do not have this option available, alert your System Administrator or reference Updating Record Page Layouts for steps on how to add the button to the page layout.

After clicking the button, you will see a pop-up that allows you to choose your recipients (contacts only). Then, select an existing email template or draft your own email on the spot.

Known Limitations

1. Mass emailing is only available for contacts. If you have a call list of properties, the platform will not know to send the email to related property owners. Therefore, you will need to ensure your call list contains only contacts.

2. If you select Define own email content you will not have the ability to personalize with merge fields. However, you can do so when you create email templates.
