Adjusting Field Location on Page Layout
Updated over 9 months ago

In this article we'll look at customization of your page to adjust which fields are included and where.

Please note: these changes are only made to the specific layout you choose to edit. If you would like this change to be reflected on all page layouts, you must repeat the steps for each layout.

  1. From the Apto home screen, click on the gear icon located in the upper right corner and click Setup.

  2. Click on Object Manager next to “Home” on the setup page

  3. The Object Manager allows you to see all the components of the system and how they are laid out. This is where you will make changes to the layouts of each page. For our example, we will make changes to the layout of the Industrial Property Page. From the Object Manager, select the Object you would like to make changes to - Property in our example

  4. Next, click on Page Layouts and select the specific page you would like to make changes to (Industrial Layout).

  5. This opens a panel outlining all the different components of a page layout. The default selection will show all the fields that exist for this specific page layout.

  6. Below, you will see the location of each of the fields on the page. Options that are greyed out indicate that the field is already in use. Click on a greyed out field to see its current location on the layout. Drag and drop a field to place it where you’d like it to appear on the page.

  7. Click Save. Refresh the page you just made adjustments to, and your new field will appear where you placed it.
